Remembering Bob & Alice Wirt

Bob and Alice Wirt were longtime friends and supporters of Inspira Resource Center (formerly Center for Pregnancy.) Alice volunteered at the center until her health prohibited her. Bob was an integral part of the golf marathon since the very beginning. Starting from the first marathon over 20 years ago, Bob faithfully spread the word about the ministry, raising nearly half a million dollars in the process. Without Bob, we would not have had a golf marathon most years! Because of his dedication and hard work, Inspira has been enabled to serve thousands of women and their families over the years.

Even after he lost Alice, Bob continued to work to get others involved with the pregnancy center, and to raise funds for the golf marathon. Bob passed away in 2020 and we miss his cheerful spirit and kind heart; his passion for life, and his affinity for the game of golf! This year, we pray that our marathon will honor his memory and carry on his legacy of love for life and for the community.
